What is there to say about Y ? I don’t like them very much. I’ve tried to” stay away from them until I agreed to test the “Origins Shooting Stars” by Jamie Kalvestran. https://www.jamiekalvestrandesign.com/sewing-with-jamie… #scrapbagspatterns After doing a YouTube search and practicing each different way of making them and found the one that made sense to me and I am really liking my quilt. If you haven’t made too many Y seams practice till you find the one for you. Now is the time to fly thru these blocks. Soon you will be seeing these blocks ready to put together.

Yep, I took a class on Y seams once and it was good. I don’t worry about them any more, but I sure don’t go looking for them!

I don’t like them either but sometimes they are the only way to piece a block 🙂
