All is going good here in Missouri, except the heat. Texas is still out doing us. Worked in my garden yesterday and it was good to get out and play in the dirt for a while. A year without being able to work in the garden produced a crop of weeds and baby trees.
I am testing a new quilt and with the exception of Y seams I love it. I have always steered away from them and now I am making them. I have tried several You Tube videos and I think I am finding my own way to make them and have come up with a way that works for me.
The bottom picture is what the finished quilt will look like. ell I have gotten some of Block A for the quilt “Origins – Shooting Star Quilt” By Jamie Kalvestran. This Quilt will be out in September. Follow https://www.jamiekalvestrandesign.com/sewing-with-jamie… #scrapbagspatterns and tag @jamiekalvestra Blocks are going good especially once I got it into my head what reverse means. Gonna like this quilt. Hopefully today will bring the end of block A and I will move on to Block B.
That’s a stunning block! I think it’s too much for my feeble brain. 🙂

I think I can honestly say I won’t make this many Y seams again
