I forgot how middle school girls are so dramatic. Day 1 came in and dropped book bag, and huffed into the kitchen looking for a snack. “We only got 25 minutes to eat! I am hungry!” a plate of chips and an uncrustable later she sat and explained to Grandpa(like he is unhinged} That she has only 4 minutes to get from one side of the building to the other side and down stairs… Day 2 How terrible lunches are. No she isn’t going to take her lunch she just won’t eat. Ramon noodles and cheese to eat. Boys are idiots. Day 3… HOMEWORK! No one gave homework before. What is the purpose of writing a letter to future self.
I have been making Pecan Brittle and making wallhangings. After hearig from a few of you I went out and purchased some Basting Spray and have to admit I like it. I used it on a doll quilt.
I know it is only August(end of), but the last few days leaves have been falling, Does this mean early winter or long fall? I can handle long fall. Time to check the Farmer’s Almanac. Farmer’s Almanac says sleet, snow, and surprises, Rapid temperature swings. A great winter to stay in and sew and bake.
Sinced I am armed with the winter forcast I can go out and buy more fabric to have on hand for the cold snowy days.
