I hope that we are back and ready to keep going. This Grandma has had so much happening that I had to take a short break to get my act together. I am in the middle of my last year as my Quilt Guild President. It has been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to everyone. It has taught me more about how other people do things and process other’s actions and words so differently. I am thankful to the folks who had more faith in my than I did. That being said Hubby would ask as I had or went to a meeting if anyone had been impeached from a position in the guild. He spoke his truth as for 50+ years our lives revolved around family(him being 1st until we had kids)
Earlier this month I was busy altering my oldest daughter’s best friend’s daughter’s wedding party’s dresses. The first dress was the mother’s wedding dress was needed to shorten.
Then Bride’s Maid”s Dresses need a little tweeking.
Mother of the Bride few little touches
Then poof up the bottom of the Bride’s dress. This is for the ceremony.
This was a fun change from all the other stuff going on. Hope all is going good for everyone.
They were lucky to have you doing all that altering – I don’t know how to alter a gown but I would think it is a lot of careful work! Sounds like you’ve been busy!

Well done you! I don’t enjoy altering, but I have done it for my own and some very dear people. It is not for the rain of heart! Glad to see you back!
