Super Bowl Weekend
Hello we are finally back after a while of craziness. My hopes and prayers are that 2025 will be a little more calmer. I had a foot surgery and then had to have it redone because the first Dr. messed it up and I ended up with bones not attached to the foot. Just hangingContinue reading “Super Bowl Weekend”
A Little on the Chilly Side
It has been cold here in Missouri for a few days, but today is -7 with a windchill of -26. While I sew I like to look out the window, but it is a little chilly in here. We got new windows a few years ago, but I have realized that when it is hit a placeContinue reading “A Little on the Chilly Side”

Been A While
I was a little surprised when I noticed how long it has been since I’ve posted anything. So far 2024 has started out pretty good for us. I am hoping that this year will be a good one for everyone. Y Seams
What is there to say about Y ? I don’t like them very much. I’ve tried to” stay away from them until I agreed to test the “Origins Shooting Stars” by Jamie Kalvestran. https://www.jamiekalvestrandesign.com/sewing-with-jamie… #scrapbagspatterns After doing a YouTube search and practicing each different way of making them and found the one that made senseContinue reading “Y Seams”
3 Months and seems like 3 years in ways
All is going good here in Missouri, except the heat. Texas is still out doing us. Worked in my garden yesterday and it was good to get out and play in the dirt for a while. A year without being able to work in the garden produced a crop of weeds and baby trees. IContinue reading “3 Months and seems like 3 years in ways”
Spring is here.
As I look outside my window I see green grass mostly deep and lush, but it is 39 degrees outside. So today will find me making peanut brittle, and doing some sewing. Today no quilt, but some summer clothes for Granddaughter and myself. I realized the most colors in my closet are dark colors. HubbyContinue reading “Spring is here.”
