This last week has been full of ups and downs as we are used to being on the go more. I have some very mixed feelings about everything opening up. But like a small child taking baby steps we are taking those wobbly baby steps finding out what the “new Norm” will be. In March we were planning on going on a vacation to Washington DC, but 2 days before we were to leave DC closed down. Was that only a few months ago? Seems like so much more. In these few short months I have returned from retirement to help our Preschool Granddaughter with school work, more of a Baby sitter Grandma, mask maker, and Bigger Worrier. Not the changes most of you have had to make. I can not imagine having to juggle working from home, and teach, take care of families, and be the all to the family. For those of you who are juggling all these things I am in awe of you. You are doing an amazing job, not many can do.
As we have been stuck at home(yes that is how I feel, I want to go to a fabric store and feel the fabric, smell the smells in the store. Sorry I regress), I have been trying to do a Quilt A Long with a Facebook group starting in Italy. This group of ladies are almost finished and I am only about 1/4th the way finished, so I will be working on this for the next few days and see if I can get caught up. This is what I have so far.

These may have been shared before, and if it has it has. I have found that I have LOTS of WIPs that I will start working on one at a time till they are all finished. I will let you know how it goes.
Stay safe taking your Wobbly Baby Steps.

This has been a very unique time for all of us, I think it’s great that you have joined the Italian ladies in this quilt along. 🙂

It’s a good time to have a hobby, even if we can’t get out and get new stuff for it. And yes, it’s always better to actually see/feel/smell the fabric before buying!

We thought in a few months of going to Yellowstone National Park in Montana, but I think this year is a no go. Don’t want to chance it
