A pond in the yard.

This morning as I am working on my illusions quilt, hubby notices a little puddle of water in the front yard. This is easy to see as the front yard is all white from snow and ice except for an area of x4 feet and it is green with an area of 2×3 of water puddle. We called the city and it is the water main that is broken and it is on our property. Our expense. Waiting for a plumber and see what to do. I did find out that there are new additions on homeowners to cover this. A day late and dollar short, but for the future it will be good. The area is growning as the sun melts the ice.

On a happier note I have the borders to put on the Illusion quilt and can’t wait to start the quilting. Will be one of my favorites. What do you think?

The only problem I had is there is so much left over fabric. I can make another center square and may for a pillow.
