Mini trip to Galveston, TX

In July we made a short trip to the Houston, Tx area and made a stop in Galveston.  I did find a few cute Quilt shops and hope to stop in again to see them.  If you are in Galveston area stop in and see  Teo’s Treasures and Pins and Needles.  They aren’t large quilt shops, but have some unusual fabrics.

As you will see we do enjoy other things, so enjoy an afternoon walking the beach in Galveston. IMG_6060IMG_6061IMG_6066IMG_6067IMG_6068IMG_6069IMG_6070IMG_6071IMG_6073IMG_6074IMG_6075IMG_6078IMG_6077IMG_6076IMG_6064IMG_6065Can’t go to Tx and not have seafood and Texmex.  Sweet sites of home.

  1. Wow I lived in Houston, Texas for 8 years before we moved to Seattle and it was fun to see photos of Galveston – it seems like a lifetime ago since I was last there! TexMex – yum! When I was in Dallas on a business trip layover in August I made sure to get some TexMex!

  2. Galveston has changed a lot since I used to go there with my older sister! I guess the rebuilding after storms accounts for that. It’s a little different side of Texas. =)
