Last week I didn’t get a lot accomplished, we were busy, but nothing accomplished. Ever have those days? I am hoping this week is a week to get things finished. Haha the joke is on me. Hubby planned a day so I guess I will be getting the afternoon to do as I planned. Oh well that’s ok. A morning of looking for a new light for my sewing room is a good plan. My lighting isn’t the best so this is really good way to spend the morning.
Yesterday we had our kids and grandkids over and had a great time. Swordfish turned out ok as did the chicken enchiladas. I got into a baking mood when I got up so we had chocolate chip cookies, angel food cake, lemon meringue pie(without the crust) and hot rolls. Son’s birthday is in a few days and he requested the pie so it was made for him to take home. To keep me from eating all this I sent it home with the kids.
In the sewing room this afternoon will see me working on my One Block Wonder quilt. I am half way finished cutting and sewing the hexagon blocks. I hope to have those finished tonight.
Well time to go shopping so all have a great day.

Yeah, I have days and weeks like that where I didn’t think I got anything done and then my husband reminds me of all that I did accomplish. Look at all the baking you did for your family, that’s not easy. Bet your son loved his birthday pie.
