Today I started making Peanut brittle and Pecan Brittle.  Made 4 pounds of it.  Still have lots to go.  Alicia has been making “Thin Blue Line” coffee cozies for our Sale coming up in a few weeks.  These are to show support for our Law Enforcement  Dept.

Today starts the beginning of a 3 day celebration in Independence, MO, the hometown to Harry S. Truman, who was the 33rd President.  The celebration consists of a carnival, the whole downtown is reverted to horse drawn covered wagon rides, LOTS of food, crafts, games, music, and you will see people walking around dressed inContinue reading “Fun Fun Friday”

Today is reminding me that fall is just around the corner.  September 22nd this year. The leaves will be changing, making looking out my sewing room windows so much fun. A view outside in October in Missouri.  This inspired the colors for this quilt. Bad lighting on the one on the left.
