This last week has been very busy at One Creative Family. I’ve been doing lots of babysittting, and the girls are busy making their craft things while Jim and Gary are busy in their work rooms making wood projects.
I am in the process of making 3 baby quilts. I started years ago (30 +) making baby quilts with the baby’s name, birth date, weight and length on them for the new arrivals. I am embarrassed to say that I didn’t get all the nieces and nephew’s baby quilts made as there are close to 30. We are now into them having babies.
This week we are celebrating the birth of William Brooke. With this happening I am working on a baby quilt for him. I have only 10 more blocks finished and then will assemble it.

These blocks are 3.5 inches and will border the Embroidery. I am also posting a few of the other baby quilts I have made for another Nephew’s girls. This will be baby quilt #3. William will blues, gray, and hunting. Baby #2 is due in Aug and they haven’t decided on a theme. Baby #3 is in Aug and since I made her 2 sisters quilts alike hers will be the same. 50% Canadian, 50% US, and 100% Texan with pinwheels.

Next week is foot surgery and I will be off the feet for a few weeks then in a boot. I am going to sew as much as I can till then.
Everyone have a great day, evening, or weekend.
