Just days

It is only 5 days until the craft fair and as usual I am still working.  I had planned on being ready by now, BUT I seem to find that 1 more thing to make.  So finishing up the border and binding on the Dance of the Dragonfly quilt and then I will be done. Yesterday was a trial run at loading the SUV to make sure it all fits.  It does with room to spare.  That was a happy time when I could look at hubby and say “See it all fits just fine.”  NOW if anyone decided to rid with me then I am sunk.  Good thing I will be meeting Mary at our house and she is taking her car and Alicia and Ashley will be meeting us there.

In June I sent my nephew a Quilt of Valor and he just sent a photo of him with it.  He does fishing and hunting guide work in Texas and Alaska and has been gone since then.  He just got it and what a surprise he had.  His girlfriend sent me photos when he first left for Alaska. He never knew about it until my sister sent him a picture when she got it.  This is his first time to actually see it in person.  This young man amazes me so much.  Thank you Ben, “Doc” for all you had to go thru for our Country.  Love you kiddo.
