Today I started making Peanut brittle and Pecan Brittle.  Made 4 pounds of it.  Still have lots to go.  Alicia has been making “Thin Blue Line” coffee cozies for our Sale coming up in a few weeks.  These are to show support for our Law Enforcement  Dept.  

Today will be a very lazy day in One Creative Family.  I have a ham in the oven, enjoying a quiet lazy day.  Today is a beautiful 69 degrees and sunny.  This afternoon Destiny and I will explore the neighborhood and visit with a few neighbors. Today starts the beginning of a 3 day celebration in Independence, MO, the hometown to Harry S. Truman, who was the 33rd President.  The celebration consists of a carnival, the whole downtown is reverted to horse drawn covered wagon rides, LOTS of food, crafts, games, music, and you will see people walking around dressed inContinue reading “Fun Fun Friday”
